Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual with SAP functional understanding of Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) including demand management, production planning and global availability-to-promise.
How You Can Be the Impact
Design, build, customize, and test business processes in Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Global Availability-To-Promise (gATP) areas to meet the business objectives.
Diagnose and resolve business process issues arising in SAP APO areas by utilizing functional and strong technical debugging skills.
Provide basic support and understanding of business functions that tightly integrates with SAP APO such as Sales & Distribution (SD) and Production Planning (PP).
Proactively coach and mentor less senior staff.
Direct day-to-day operations of contingent professionals, providing expertise and encouraging teamwork to achieve high performance standards and meet targets.
Partnering with key stakeholders throughout the Americas region to optimize the delivery of existing and new services and continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing status updates and suggesting actions for continuous improvement.
Ability to support additional SAP domains and/or Business Applications as identified.
What Matters to SABIC
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or Commercial discipline
5 years experience preferably in Petrochemical Industry or IT environment
Extensive hands-on functional experience in the SAP APO with some exposure to related SAP functions
Workable knowledge of reporting in SAP Analytics Cloud or Celonis will be plus
Strong analytical skills with excellent communication skills
