Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Nail Technician to provide various nail care services, including natural, gel polish, dip powder and acrylic manicures and pedicures to Residents, Team Members, and guests of WVC.

Wage:

• From $18.00/hr + based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the development, promotion, and implementation of all services provided at the Day Spa at Willow Valley.
• Participates in health and wellness related educational workshops and promotional events for Residents and Team Members.
• Provides nail care services to clients of the Day Spa. Stays current with new applications and technology in this area to keep current and enhance services.
• Responsible for set up & cleanup for each client.
• Clean and sanitize all tools and work environment, understanding of sanitation standards.
• Abide by PA State Board of Cosmetology guidelines.
• Assists in answering telephones and scheduling appointments for all spa services and updates appointments as needed.
• Assists in maintaining daily bookkeeping duties as well as taking payment for services and products sold at the Day Spa.
• Assists with laundry duties at the Cultural Center.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Attends team meetings and community meetings as necessary.
• Serves as a communication link to clients and potential clients of the Day Spa regarding questions, concerns, and/or complaints regarding nail care services.
• Maintains ethical behavior in accordance with Willow Valley Communities' guidelines and the Code of Ethics for Cosmetology.

Qualifications:

• Current PA Cosmetology License or Nail Technician License
• Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques specifically gel polish, dip powder and acrylics

Hours:

• 24 hours/week

Schedule:

• Saturday 7:30am-2:00pm, Monday and Tuesday 7:30am-4:00pm
