Job Description

Our client is a leading independent elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization provider in the Carolinas and Virginia. With a core focus on Elevating Excellence, they continue to grow and are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Systems Administrator in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of software systems within our client's organization. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of software deployment, system integration, and ongoing software management to ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

Software Implementation

  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation and configuration of new software applications (HubSpot, LiftKeeper, MS Dynamics).
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure successful software deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and align implementations with business needs.

Software Management

  • Maintain and update existing software applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor software performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

Documentation and Training

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software implementations, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of software applications.
  • Create user guides and technical manuals as needed.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with IT and other departments to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in IT projects, providing expertise on software-related aspects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of software capabilities and limitations.
  • Assist with other IT projects as assigned.
