ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #AddLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.
  • Responsible for fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
  • Maintains complete confidentiality of company information.
  • Punctual to all meetings with a positive attitude and openly participates.
  • Ensures compliance with approved procedures.
  • Protects company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance including; but not limited to, internal controls, policies and procedures, and responsible gaming.
  • Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of HHR machines; performs preventative maintenance on HHR Machines during down time.
  • Ensures gaming devices are operating properly; promptly calls for technical or supervisory assistance when necessary.
  • Performs minor repair to slot machines.
  • Promotes and issues the players’ card and or reprints cards upon request; meets set goals for players’ card signups.
  • Changes ticket paper and for writes up jackpot forms correctly.
  • Must be able to read gaming floor glass and pay table information and be able to recall vital game histories.
  • Handles guest relations and minor guest disputes.
  • Notifies shift supervisor of irregularities in customers’ play.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment and performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Acts in the capacity of other positions on an as needed basis.
  • Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.
  • Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED certificate, plus six months to one year of work experience; other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS

  • The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Virginia Racing Commission (VRC) racing license.
