*Bachelor's degree

*5+ years of experience providing Executive Support in a non-profit/arts organization

Chief of Staff/Executive Assistant

Position Summary:

The Chief of Staff/Executive Assistant will play a dual role, combining strategic leadership and operational support with high-level administrative responsibilities. Reporting directly to the Executive Director (ED), this individual will act as a trusted partner, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing executive priorities, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the organization. This role requires a balance of big-picture thinking and attention to detail, serving as the ED's right hand while advancing organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the ED to implement the organization’s strategic plan and key initiatives.
• Act as a liaison across departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Anticipate the needs of the ED and proactively manage priorities, schedules, and commitments.
• Manage the ED’s calendar, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting preparation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Prepare and edit materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate board communications, including preparing materials, coordinating meetings, and documenting minutes.
• Coordinate special projects and events, ensuring timely execution and attention to detail.
• Track and report on organizational metrics and project milestones.
• Represent the ED at meetings and events as needed, acting as a professional ambassador for the organization.
