About the job: The role Work in a small team of engineers to build and scale the Pay and In-App Wallet backend services on thirdweb. You will have ownership over some of the most important products for thirdweb’s revenue, and make key decisions on architecture, developer experience, and implementation on critical systems that will span across all of thirdweb’s products. What a typical week might look like: Develop, maintain, and scale backend services that interface with the blockchain Collaborate with the product and design teams to work on solutions to solve customer challenges, plan new features, and iterate from lessons learned Communicate with our customers to assist in integrating third web into their application or platform Write documentation associated with developer-facing functions or APIs What we're looking for: 4+ years experience on a software development team for a product-focused web application Experience and interest in blockchain development (interacting with wallets or smart contracts) from 1 year Proven ability to take on complex, large-scale technical projects end-to-end in a team setting Experience in Javascript web frameworks (React, Next.js), Typescript, or NodeJS Excited about working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment that prioritizes delivering impact and learning over the process Curious about technology outside of your direct expertise and have an appetite for learning A self-starter in proposing and carrying out technical solutions to ambiguous business problems Know when and how to make calculated tradeoffs to meet the needs of the customer and business Bonus Points Experience in developer-first products (SDKs, API design, technical documentation) Benefits ️ Full healthcare, vision, dental Latest and greatest laptop of your choice Unlimited PTO ️ Workplace Wellbeing program Parental Leave Support
