Our Company has openings for the position of Assistant Conveyorman aboard our US flagged self-unloading vessels. We are looking to hire for mid March - Fit-Out and start of our 2023 sailing season!

Responsibilities

• Following safe work procedures
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo in the tunnel of the vessel
• Work with a conveyor belt and system
• Perform maintenance on the cargo equipment
• Follow instruction from Conveyorman on various tasks such as cleaning and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

• TWIC Card - Transportation Worker Identification Credential
• Unexpired US Passport or Enhanced Driver's License and allowed entry into Canada
• Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with Ordinary Seaman
• Legally authorized to work in the US, without restriction
• Excellent communication and ability to multi-task
• Experience working as a team and desire to working together as a team player
• Experience and desires to align to our Values: Creating a Positive Customer Experience, Health/Safety/Environment focused, High Integrity and Teamwork
• MMC with Wiper Endorsement issued by USCG preferred
• Mechanical, welding experience preferred
• Maritime training or recent vessel experience preferred
