Description
Position Purpose:
The Network Technician is responsible for running new network connections throughout the Casino to meet business needs. The Network Technician will assist in deploying and installing new networking initiatives. The Network Technician will also assist the IT department in day-to-day IT activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Run, terminate and test Cat6 cable.
Understanding of Network Protocols
Knowledge on network related tools
Support the operation and maintenance of LANs, WANS, Switches, and Firewalls.
Provide support to assist the Casino staff in network related issues
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education/Qualifications: High School Diploma.
Network + (Preferred but not required)
CCNA (Preferred but not required)
Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Work Requirements:
Shift : Days
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature. Buffalo Run Casino & Resort
