In this key role, you will lead and oversee data governance strategies, ensuring our data assets are well-managed, secure, and compliant with industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of data governance strategies, policies, and processes for data management.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective data governance practices that meet both regulatory and business needs.
• Oversee data quality, security, and compliance efforts, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all data sets.
• Implement and manage data governance tools, particularly Data bricks and Purview, to optimize the management of large-scale data sets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives and ensure data is accessible, accurate, and secure.
• Enhance the culture of the company, working cross-functionally to ensure communication between different teams and implement data governance principles
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the data governance team, ensuring ongoing professional development and best practices.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Insurance industry experience is essential, with a deep understanding of insurance data regulations, standards, and practices.
• Proven experience in managing data governance processes, with hands-on expertise in Databricks and Purview.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance regulations, particularly in the context of the insurance industry.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable data governance strategies
