Job Description: Salary Range: $20 - $21.63 per hour, DOE Under direction and guidance of the Program Manager, Youth Entrepreneurship Technology, the Management Intern, Youth Entrepreneurship Technology will support the activities and operations of educational technology projects for the grant-funded school programs within the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute (Edson E+I).
Essential Duties: - Hardware and Software Documentation
- Oversees the quarterly update of all technology related documentation to reflect any updates
- Supports the testing and troubleshooting of educational software to ensure compatibility with institutional systems
- Assists in the management of the team's project timelines by ensuring deliverables are met and identifying any potential roadblocks
EdTech Piloting - Collaborates with team members to evaluate and recommend emerging educational technologies for potential integration into existing curricula
- Monitors the performance and user feedback of deployed technology solutions to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design pilot programs for new educational technologies, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and user needs.
Hardware Troubleshooting + Support - Monitors the performance and user feedback of deployed technology solutions to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations
- Analyzes data on technology usage patterns and prepares reports to inform strategic planning and decision-making
- Supports the testing and troubleshooting of educational software to ensure compatibility with institutional systems
- Prepares periodic reports, including but not limited to activity, progress, status, or other special reports across the YE team.
- Other duties as assigned.

Working Environment: - Work duties are performed in diverse settings, including ASU SkySong (Scottsdale, AZ) and various event/program locations.
- This position may be involved in supporting various events and programs.
- This can include the setup and breakdown of materials and other equipment that may require lifting or handling moderately heavy items.
- Some domestic travel to various program locations may be required.
- May require a flexible working schedule to accommodate projects and initiatives.
- Regular activities require the ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to the resolution of conflicts.
- Regular communication to perform essential duties. Climate-controlled office settings are subject to extended periods of being in stationary positions. Constantly detects and operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Flexible Work Options: - Alternative work schedules can include staggered start and stop times.
- Hybrid work is an arrangement where employees spend a minimum of 60% of their regular workweek at their primary ASU work location. Dean or vice president-level approval is required.
- Full remote work is spending every workday at a site other than assigned ASU work location. This arrangement granted when the criteria in the flexible work arrangement policy are met. Executive vice president-level approval is required.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma and two-years (2) experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Driving Requirement: This position may require driving. Employee must possess a valid US Driver's license of the appropriate class and required endorsements throughout employment.
