ABOUT THE JOB:

Cantoni Trade is seeking a dynamic Interior Design Trade Consultant to join the team at our Los Angeles Design Center showroom. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with the clients of Cantoni Trade offering the finest contemporary furnishings. Our clients include designers, architects, developers, builders, purchasing agents, specifiers and others involved in designing and furnishing interior and exterior spaces. While we highlight several of our luxury lines in our showroom, we offer an incredible range of products to suit our clients and their projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Cultivate and grow client engagement and sales generation on a ongoing basis
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Cantoni Trade products
• Ensure Cantoni’s clients experience service that is consistent with the brand promise and company’s standards.
• Provide client support and resolution in all aspects of the customer experience.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and store sales goals.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships with interior design professionals on a regular basis utilizing company programs and tools.
• Support clients in a courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested manner.
• Expand the client's connection to the Cantoni brand as well as expand the client’s vision through additional items based on assessing client needs.
• Demonstrate confidence in your design and sales capabilities to lead the client experience throughout the design journey and/or relationship
• Gain and maintain valuable knowledge and insight of the industry.
• You will get the opportunity to work with and connect with some of CITY most elite clientele.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS :

Required:

• A minimum of 2 years interior design sales/consultation experience
• Demonstrated enthusiasm/motivation for design
• Demonstrated experience in high-end luxury home furnishings in a retail environment
• Professional leadership and motivational skills
• Strong sales experience, communication and computer skills
