Now Hiring: Ice Cream Maker – Irvey’s Ice Cream Co. | Knoxville, TN

Irvey’s Ice Cream Co. is on the lookout for a detail-loving, production-savvy, ice-cream-obsessed team member to join us as our next Ice Cream Maker !

We’re currently located at 2201 Kerns Rising Way , but we’re preparing to move our production operations to 3000 Tazewell Pike in the coming months — so flexibility and excitement about that transition are key!

⭐ What You’ll Do

• Produce delicious, small-batch ice cream with care and consistency
• Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules with your manager
• Manage and track ingredient and packaging inventory
• Follow food safety procedures with precision and pride
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
• Occasionally assist with flavor testing and creative development (yes, you get to taste things!)

What You’ll Need

• Confidence using Google Drive, Gmail, and Excel/Sheets to track inventory, production logs, and schedules
• Ability to follow and update digital SOPs and batch tracking logs
• Basic tech troubleshooting skills (like printing labels or navigating cloud files)

✅ Qualifications

• Food production or kitchen experience preferred
• Understanding of food safety protocols (or a willingness to learn quickly)
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable juggling multiple batches, tasks, and timers at once
