Job Description

Position Title: l HVAC Apprentice

Reports to: Residential HVAC Manager

Pay Classification: Non-Exempt

Pay Type: Hourly

Summary

HVAC Technician Apprentice is primarily responsible for assisting HVAC Service Technicians in the installation and repair of HVAC systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts. In this position, you will establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors, and team members through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of HVAC systems and repairs.
Follow the instructions for picking, and delivering tools and materials, and supplies from the job site
Coordinate with team members to provide excellent customer service

Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in the similar field
Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
Able to get along with people
Strong verbal and oral communication skills
Attention to detail, prioritization skill, and time management
Motivational and communication skill
Knowledgeable and problem-solving skill
Able to follow instructions
Physically fit and manual dexterity
Familiar handling all tools and equipment needed for HVAC installation and maintenance
