Head of Communications and Public Relations Kartoon Studios (NYSE: TOON) is a global media company developing, producing, marketing, and licensing branded animated entertainment properties and consumer products for media and retail distribution. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Communications and Public Relations . This individual will oversee corporate announcements and PR efforts, leveraging traditional and digital social channels to amplify the company’s voice. Responsibilities Lead the creation and execution of a bold, comprehensive communications strategy to elevate corporate visibility and investor confidence. Craft compelling narratives and messaging that align with the company’s vision, values, and business objectives. Manage investor-facing communication, including earnings releases, shareholder updates, and executive messaging. Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets across business, financial, and entertainment. Secure high-impact media coverage for corporate announcements, investor initiatives, and company milestones. Leverage digital and social platforms like X and LinkedIn to disseminate information and strengthen the company’s brand. Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels. Oversee the creation of press releases, presentations, and other communication materials. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or investor relations within publicly traded entertainment companies. Proven success in developing and executing strategic communications plans that drive media coverage. Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms. Established media relationships across business, financial, and entertainment trade outlets.
