Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description As a Digital Department worker, you will be responsible for setting up and monitoring a single machine to ensure its proper operation. Unlike traditional printing presses, digital presses require less manual labor. You will receive training on how to load paper rolls into the machine without lifting, simply rolling them into place. Your duties will include entering orders into the computer, overseeing the production process, and counting and stacking the finished products. This role involves light lifting up to 20 pounds on a regular basis, standing for extended periods, and basic computer operations such as opening PDF files or emails. Tecnau machines are used, and a Tecnau technician will be onsite to address any breakdowns. Volunteering for overtime is optional, with mandatory overtime being rare.
Responsibilities - Set up and monitor digital printing machines.
- Load paper rolls into the machine without lifting.
- Enter orders into the computer system.
- Count and stack products at the end of the machine.
- Perform light lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods while overseeing machine operations.
- Operate basic computer functions.
Essential Skills - Ability to count to 10 without math calculations.
- Basic computer operation skills.
- Experience working with one company for at least one year.
- References verifying attendance with previous employers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience in printing (Press, Digital, or Flexo) is preferred.

Work Environment The role is based in a large production facility that is air-conditioned during summers and heated in winters. Humidity control ensures paper integrity, while the well-lit and clean environment accommodates regular client tours. Expect a loud work atmosphere with multiple machines operating. Dress code requires close-toed shoes, and long or dangly items must be secured to prevent accidents. Clothing or accessories with profanity are not permitted.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartland, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
