COMPENSATION

Hourly Minimum - Maximum $26.00 - $29.00 Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills is seeking a dynamic and creative Florist to be responsible for the preparation, and designing of any style of flowers for viewing rooms, services, and outside deliveries.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Make flower arrangements for viewing rooms, services, outside deliveries, and placements. Demonstrate respect to customer preference and value of materials. Maintain the mortuary, public displays, and church areas with flowers and plants Process flowers and supplies and make deliveries as needed. Order flowers, plants and supplies needed in the design room. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 5 years of floral design experience. Knowledge of color harmony, flowers and design are required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Read, write and speak English. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Valid California Driver's License. Comfortable standing for long periods at a time. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to work on-site.

DRUG TESTING POLICY

Prior to beginning employment, all job applicants who receive a job offer will be required to voluntarily submit to a drug screening test conducted by a laboratory designated by Forest Lawn. The drug screening method is a hair collection test that will detect the use of illegal drugs within the past 90 days. A positive drug test may result in the withdrawal of the job offer.
