CFO - A Visionary Financial Leader Wanted

Our client is seeking a mission-driven CFO to take the helm of financial leadership. As the CFO , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organization, ensuring fiscal sustainability while advancing its core mission. Your ability to balance strategic financial planning with operational excellence will be the foundation for long-term success.

As an experienced CFO , you are adept at navigating complex financial landscapes, driving innovation, and optimizing financial processes. You will lead financial strategy, budgeting, and compliance while fostering a collaborative environment that empowers teams and engages stakeholders. Your leadership will influence key decision-making, ensuring the organization thrives in a competitive and evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that support the mission and long-term sustainability of our client.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Oversee financial forecasting, budget development, and strategic planning.
• Financial Oversight: Manage all financial functions, including accounting, reporting, and cash management, ensuring compliance with GAAP and nonprofit financial regulations.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implement strong internal controls, and oversee regulatory compliance.
• Team Development & Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key advisor to the executive team and Board of Directors, effectively communicating financial strategies to diverse audiences.
• Operational & Strategic Support: Partner with senior leadership to align financial initiatives with business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; preference for MBA or CPA designation.
• Proven experience as a CFO with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong expertise in nonprofit finance, reporting, and compliance.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in gift accounting and nonprofit revenue optimization is a plus.
• Commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000
