WHAT THIS JOB INVOLVES

We are looking for candidates with commercial experience (retail or branded store environments a plus) capable of managing all aspects of projects including surveying of existing spaces, space planning, construction documents, permit processing and construction administration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Minimum one to five years’ experience on commercial projects for new construction and remodel of existing buildings
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree required for Architect candidate (license not required, but preferred)
• Bachelor of Science, Interior Design degree required for Interior Designer candidate
• Knowledge of building components, details, etc
• Knowledge of building sections envelope (applicable to Architect candidate)
• Responsible for all project aspects from preparing fit plans, construction documents for commercial projects, and teaming with other Jencen staff on projects
• Construction administration (including permit process, shop drawings, and field visits)
• Coordination with Jencen staff, client management and working with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
