Accounting Consultant

About the Company and Opportunity:

• CFS is working with an established, growing software company!
• This position is open due to retirement: they offer stability and the opportunity to grow within a company!
• The Accounting Consultant will provide guidance to customers regarding the company's products: this means the role is 20-50% travel.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Consultant role:

• Continuously learn about company software
• Train customers on any software handling cost accounting and basic accounting processes
• Conduct initial needs assessment of business processes
• Analyze data to identify issues and weaknesses in business processes
• Prepare and present analysis of client data and recommendations for product usage

Preferred Qualifications/Experience for the Accounting Consultant role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or another relevant field is preferred, but not required
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, cost accounting experience preferred. Background in the manufacturing industry is a plus!
• Experience with ERP system implementation and coding for general ledger preferred
• Highly effective communication, research, and analysis skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
